You're exposed to a high risk of contracting an STI. But that's okay - there are ways to manage your risk.

Leading German AIDS/HIV  associations confirm that a large proportion of STIs contracted in Germany affect gay or queer men. About 35% of gay men will contract an STI in any given year. [1]
Unprotected anal sex is one of the main ways to contract common STIs such as chlamydia, syphilis, and gonorrhoea. This is because the lining of the anus is thin and can be easily damaged, which makes it more vulnerable to infection.[2] We understand that condoms are not the right choice for everybody and there are other ways to stay safe.
Having multiple sexual partners within short time frames elevates the risk of STI exposure and hence transmission. This is especially relevant in the context of group sex or sex parties.
